OP is leading the implementation of a robust Communications and Engagement Strategy as part of the Comp Plan Update process. Extensive public engagement is a fundamental part of the Amendment Cycle and will guide the selection of amendments to move forward for approval. Engagement will involve a broad and diverse cross-section of residents and other stakeholders across all eight wards. OP will utilize a variety of innovative engagement strategies both in person and online, through websites and social media. There are multiple ways to engage in the process and help shape the future of the District.
From October 19 - November 14, OP hosted a series of seven citywide public meetings across the District where we heard from hundreds of residents with big ideas for the future of the District.
